RenegotiateLease came to being with the vision of assisting tenants struggling to renew their commercial property leases with their Landlords.  The inspiration came when we realized how few real estate professionals specialized in assisting office tenants with lease renegotiations.

Several successful lease renewal deliberations later, word quickly spread about our valuable service. The phone calls and requests came pouring in with leases coming up for renewal.  Within our first 6 months, over 30 tenants had sought out or service and expertise.

Today, our firm is one of the most innovative providers of highly specialized professional lease negotiation consulting services provided exclusively to office tenants.

John Galaxidas

John Galaxidas serves as President/CEO of Synergy Real Estate Group, Corporate Advisory based in San Diego, California with offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Orange County and Inland Empire. John’s extensive background includes all facets of corporate and tenant representation including leasing, subleasing, renewals, acquisitions and dispositions. John started Synergy in 2004.  John has been involved in corporate and commercial real estate for over 30 years and has completed national acquisitions and lease transactions totaling more than 10.2 million square feet.

Prior to starting Synergy, John was with Oxford Development, CB Richard Ellis, Cushman & Wakefield and Ernst & Young LLP, Real Estate Advisory Services and an Appointee of the Governor of California in Real Estate. At Oxford Development, John was Executive Vice President of Corporate Services were he oversaw large national corporate accounts such as Alcoa Steel, U.S. Steel, H.J. Heinz, PNC Financial Services Group, Mellon Financial, Hilb Rogal & Hobbs, UPMC and 84 Lumber.

At CB Richard Ellis, John developed a new tenant / buyer representation practice for CB Richard Ellis in Salt Lake City, Utah; Albuquerque, New Mexico; and Fresno, California. At Cushman & Wakefield, John headed the strategic planning, transaction management and merger integration team for DHL’s acquisition of Airborne Express and oversaw the construction of DHL’s new headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. At Ernst & Young, LLP, John focused on corporate transaction management, strategic planning, mergers & acquisitions, project management oversight, financial and operational management for leading national and multinational accounts such as Hewlett-Packard, Agilent Technologies, Cable & Wireless – Exodus Communications, Exxon Mobil, Charles Schwab and Aerojet GenCorp.

Prior to joining Ernst & Young, John was an appointee of the Governor of California in Real Estate where he served for 8 years.  Among his many undertakings, John worked on two public / private commercial development ventures between the State of California and Cisco Systems (80 acre land disposition) and Sun Microsystems (new headquarters).  In addition, he headed two development projects, the construction of the CAL-EPA building (1 million square feet ) and Teale Data Center, the largest State data facility of its kind in the nation.

John was born and raised in Sacramento.  John graduated with a Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Business Administration from the University of the Pacific. He has attended postgraduate courses in real estate and finance at UC Berkeley and Stanford University.  John is a California licensed real estate broker. John enthusiastically represents his clients.  He balances his work ethic with his passion for family, enjoyment of sports, travel and work in the community.

Jonathan Ferrini

Jonathan grew up in a restaurant family in Pasadena getting exposure to the restaurant business at an early age. After obtaining an undergraduate degree from Cornell University and a Master’s degree from UCLA, he began his 30 year commercial real estate career.

He started with Grubb & Ellis in San Diego where he specialized in the sale of investment property before moving on to a real estate development company in Pasadena where he was responsible for leasing the company’s retail and office properties throughout Southern California. Jonathan then joined up with CB Richard Ellis and was named “Regional Rookie of the Year” and received the “Distinguished Achievement Award” for exceptional service to clients as a high rise office leasing specialist.

After seven years as a successful broker at CBRE, Jonathan became Senior Vice President and Principal with Lee & Associates where he specialized in the sale of bank owned “REO” commercial properties throughout Southern California. After moving to San Diego in 2002, Jonathan became one of the founding Principals of Lee & Associates, San Diego where he specialized in the sale and lease of commercial property until 2013. Over the years Jonathan has completed dozens of restaurant lease transactions.
